WWWD?
Help others live life as fully and vibrantly as Brian did.
The What Would Ward Do Memorial Fund was established to honor the adventurous life of Brian Ward. We lost him too soon, but our family knew immediately that we had to honor Brian in the same way that he lived his life: spreading his love to not one cause, but to many. Brian's life was one of adventure and exploration. In that spirit, we will use the contributions raised here to fund grants to organizations that support the things that Brian loved. We, his family, plan to dedicate our time and research to finding education-based causes that will enable people to experience the adventures that gave Brian's life meaning: mountaineering, skiing, geologic field camp, aviation, and outdoor experiences (both adrenaline-fueled and other).
After receiving his Geology degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Brian pursued his dream of becoming a commercial pilot. In March of 2016, he was hired by United Airlines: a true dream come true. What was truly amazing about Brian was that, despite the time and effort it took to achieve his goals, he never once sacrificed his love for friends and family to pursue his dreams. He was there for all of us through every part of our most important adventures.
Please help us honor Brian's life by donating. And, more importantly, whenever you are faced with a choice in life to take on a new adventure, ask yourself: What Would Ward Do?
If you have a Donor-Advised Fund with Community Foundation Boulder County, you are welcome to contribute to this page through your fund. Please contact your fund representative or philanthropicservices@commfound.org.
