Transforming lives and breaking the cycle of poverty in the Alicia Sanchez International School!
Coming together. Closing gaps in education.
The Sanchez Foundation is a fund of the Community Foundation formed in 2011 to support a high-quality, 21st-century community learning program at Alicia Sanchez International School. It is guided by an all-volunteer group of community members, Sanchez faculty members and Sanchez parents and guardians. The foundation's work is supported by a broad base of local community organizations.

The foundation provides funding for school programs, activities, and equipment that would otherwise not be available to Sanchez students, e.g.:
- Finance programs that are either not funded by the district or receive minimal funding, including a family resource center, enrichment programming, technology, music, art, and physical education;
- provide teachers and staff with the necessary and appropriate support needed to give exceptional instruction to all of Sanchez's students; and
- Provide leadership in encouraging and supporting excellence in public education … and much more.
